Launch of the International Hydrogen Guide: Excelling in Hydrogen
Compiled by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and Topsector Energy, the guide offers a current overview of the Dutch hydrogen sector. From policy context and technological innovations to value chain development and concrete project examples, the guide positions the Netherlands as a reliable and innovative partner in the international energy transition.
A powerful showcase of Dutch hydrogen expertise
A key feature of the guide is the visualisation of the Dutch hydrogen value chain, which includes more than 270 companies and organisations. As such, the publication serves as a powerful showcase for the Netherlands abroad. The guide is distributed worldwide via trade missions, international exhibitions, and through the network of Dutch embassies and economic offices.
Two flagship projects supported by GroenvermogenNL
The guide gives special attention to six so-called flagship projects – large-scale, strategically important initiatives that form the foundation for further hydrogen scale-up in the Netherlands. GroenvermogenNL is proud to have co-financed two of these six projects: XINTC and H2Hollandia. This highlights the crucial role of GroenvermogenNL in driving sustainable hydrogen initiatives of national and international significance.
These projects were selected for their exemplary nature, innovative character, and contribution to the decarbonisation of industry, mobility, and infrastructure. Thanks to strong public-private collaboration, they represent concrete steps toward a climate-neutral economy.
Building a green hydrogen economy together
GroenvermogenNL works closely with partners to realise a robust hydrogen value chain – from production and transport to applications in industry, mobility and the built environment. Supporting frontrunner projects such as those in Excelling in Hydrogen underlines our mission: accelerating the hydrogen transition through innovation, collaboration, and targeted funding.
