Joint effort to deliver a sustainable system based on green hydrogen
About GroenvermogenNL
Within GroenvermogenNL, the R&D programme is supporting efforts to tackle technical ambiguities, accelerate cost reduction, and foster the development of innovative business models for green hydrogen. There are seven distinct research themes encompassing industrial, applied, and fundamental research.
GroenvermogenNL’s pilot programme is being used by the manufacturing sector to test and validate innovations. In this context, we use matchmaking and harness resources such as the DEI+ scheme. The programme involves projects covering the complete hydrogen chain, including production, transport, storage, and industrial applications.
GroenvermogenNL’s scaling-up programme is designed to jump-start ongoing hydrogen (electrolyser) projects by leveraging specific schemes and facilitating knowledge sharing, while also promoting the development of new demonstration projects. We are also developing a national facility for testing the endurance of green hydrogen equipment.
GroenvermogenNL’s Human Capital Agenda aims to ensure that there is an adequate pool of hydrogen professionals equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills. We actively collaborate with the education sector, businesses, government agencies and knowledge institutions to transform technical innovations into practical skills for the workforce.
