National Education and Training Package for Hydrogen

In partnership with the Netherlands Initiative for Educational Research (NRO), GroenvermogenNL is working to deliver transparency in green hydrogen education. What relevant and accredited educational and training programmes are currently available? We conduct a survey to identify these offerings and consolidate the results into an online platform: Make Hydrogen Work.

We require highly trained people to support the hydrogen transition. How are the formal education pathway and the extensive range of lifelong learning options tailored to this purpose? Technopolis, working alongside Hutspot and KPMG, conducted exploratory studies on our behalf. Through this national study, we collaborate with the business community to design tailored investment programmes for Learning and Development initiatives, as well as for education programmes.

Make Hydrogen Work

Make Hydrogen Work offers professionals who want to become proficient in hydrogen a route to obtaining the required skills. The platform includes campuses in the Netherlands that develop and provide training programmes for professionals to become proficient in hydrogen. These campuses are established by hydrogen partnerships between businesses, knowledge institutes, educational institutions, and government agencies. Both public and private educational institutions are involved in developing the modules and curricula for hydrogen-related training programmes, which are provided on the campuses. GroenvermogenNL coordinates Make Hydrogen Work at national level.
