The World Hydrogen Summit 2024 in Rotterdam is the place to gain knowledge, inspiration and contacts for those interested in green hydrogen. As an innovation engine of the green hydrogen economy, it’s needless to say GroenvermogenNL will be there. On Tuesday, May 14, we welcome people to the NL Pavilion who want to contribute to the acceleration and scaling up of green hydrogen. In the afternoon we inspire with the first results of our projects H2Hollandia and Duwaal.
During our presence on May 14, we would like to expand our (international) network to strengthen the innovative ecosystem surrounding the transition to green hydrogen. We like to think along with visitors about great connections for them with other companies, initiatives, projects and grants.
GroenvermogenNL supports the strong and growing hydrogen community that will scale up production and use of green hydrogen. We are continuously looking for new insights to help strengthen and expand this ecosystem. At the World Hydrogen Summit we would like to listen to organizations that are internationally active in hydrogen. So that we learn even more about what is happening internationally and how we can join forces. Of course, we also share which initiatives GroenvermogenNL is currently working on.
GroenvermogenNL is a transition program in the National Growth Fund. With more than € 800 million in available grants, we can also boost innovation financially. For example, by contributing to pilot projects. We are proud to share the first results of two of these projects on May 14: H2Hollandia (12:30 PM – 2:30 PM) and Duwaal (2:30 PM – 5:00 PM). For this purpose, we give the floor to project leaders from the consortia involved.
In the H2Hollandia project, the consortium is building an installation for the production of green hydrogen at a large solar park in the province of Drenthe. They use electricity that cannot be supplied to the electricity grid. In the Duwaal project, an entire hydrogen chain will be realized in one go in the province of North Holland: from production at a wind turbine to delivery to the end user. The aim is to make this further scalable to a nationally covering network.
