Turbe eSAF Project Rotterdam: scaling up sustainable aviation fuel

Metafuels is scaling up its aerobrew technology for the production of synthetic sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF). A FEL 3 study will lay the groundwork for an industrial production facility at Evos Rotterdam with a capacity of approximately 10 tonnes per day.

H2Café: a new era in coffee roasting

Can hydrogen become a sustainable alternative to natural gas for coffee roasting? In the H2Café project, UCC Coffee Benelux B.V. is investigating the feasibility of using renewable hydrogen in the industrial coffee roasting process. The results will form the basis for a decision on whether to develop a hydrogen-fired coffee roaster on an industrial scale.

OMG-H2: offshore green hydrogen production in the North Sea using offshore wind

OMG-H2 investigates the feasibility of offshore green hydrogen production in the North Sea using offshore wind. The project explores a 30–50 MW platform-based installation, including hydrogen production at sea and transport to land via pipeline.

HyFINE brings together companies and knowledge institutes to promote more sustainable production of fine chemicals and specialties. The project develops new, climate-neutral and circular processes based on green hydrogen and renewable energy.
